LIST OF CPRH STAFF

Professor Oladimeji Oladepo is a proven and recognized academic in the public health and development field with over 25 years’ experience in research, advocacy, and programming. He had led several research projects (as principal investigator) in community and institutional based implementation research programmes in child survival, adolescent reproductive health HIV/AIDS, tropical diseases prevention and treatment, health systems among others with funding support from international and local agencies such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), DFiD, Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATHS), Rockefeller Foundation, IRnstitute, Institut Pasteur (France) and Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) of USA to strengthen country and regional health information systems and policy.

A Professor of Public Health, Prof. Oladepo has consulted extensively domestically and internationally in his field of expertise (public health) and published extensively in leading journals as well as contributing to book chapters, monographs and technical reports. He had also disseminated an array of research findings at national, regional and international conferences, seminars, meetings and media and using special presentations to policy makers and program managers for policy advocacy.

He was a World Health Organization (WHO) Visiting Scientist Fellowship, 1984-85 to undertake a study at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, U.S.A. He was awarded The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Leadership Fund Award, USA. Feb. 1996, The Bill and Melinda Gates visiting Scholar Fellowship Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, USA March-May 2007 and Fellow of the African Population Health Research Centre, 2013.
