Strategic Leadership and Management Training for Programme Officers in Nigeria – Supported by: UNFPA 7th Country Programme.

Training was aimed to build and strengthen strategic Leadership, Management, Advocacy and Communication skills in Population and Reproductive Health, of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan to conduct a training seminar / workshop for Program / Project Officers of UNFPA supported programs in the states, NGOs, Research institutions and other IPs on the concept and principle of leadership and its role in efficient project management as well as advocacy and communication skills.

The one-week training took participants through the necessary strategic, management, advocacy and communication skills required to meet and solve challenges. The participants were drawn from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.

Over the years, CPRH has pioneered and provides leadership for acquisition of RH service and research skills and has been in the forefront of translation of research into practice aimed at improving the quality of maternal, newborn and child health in the country
